At Popcorn & Ice Cream, being a good corporate citizen is more than just cause marketing. It’s an inherent part of who we are and what we do.
While many theories exist on the underlying personality traits of successful entrepreneurs, one essential skill is undisputed – the ability to read. Literacy is one of the best predictors of a child’s future success. And, for children growing up in low-income neighborhoods, books are scarce.
For this reason, at Popcorn & Ice Cream, we focus our philanthropic efforts on promoting early childhood literacy.
We’re honored to be charter members of Community Profits Montgomery – a new initiative that recognizes businesses that give back to Montgomery County.
